This Victorian Garnet Opal cluster ring is so, so beautiful to see in person. In even the dullest light the Opal is bright and firey, displaying brilliant flashes of red which perfectly compliment the Garnets, which themselves are the colour of a light red wine. You will often see Garnets with a very deep burgundy tone that can sometimes look quite dark unless well lit, but this isn't the case with these stones. They're lively, bright and catch the light perfectly!
An ideal ring for summer parties and long evenings.

CONDITION: Very Good
This ring is in great condition, ready to be worn and enjoyed! The Opal and Garnets are all immaculate, with no scratches or chips anywhere to be seen. The Gold band shows some early signs of wear in keeping with the age of the ring but these are only very minor scuffs that aren't visible when worn. As with many handmade Victorian rings, this piece has an ever so slightly wonky construction which you'll have noticed in the photographs. The claws around the opal, for example, aren't completely symmetrical, and the setting itself isn't a perfect oval. Far from detracting from the piece, we feel that it's these minor imperfections that remind you of the antiquity of a ring such as this! We think it is utterly beautiful!
