Condition:
VERY GOOD. This Victorian Aesthetic Silver rose motif studded locket is in very good antique condition. The Silver has accrued a gorgeous patina over its lifetime, possessing a lovely warm hue. The engraved rose motif on the locket front is crisp and clear, the Gold remaining bright too. There are two intact frames within, and whilst there is some light wear throughout, commensurate with age, including the odd ding to its back, this is very subtle. The locket does shut securely, but not with a tight click. With a large antique bale firmly attached, she will hang beautifully from you favourite fine Silver chain!
