This Victorian 9ct Gold Agate intaglio fob pendant is brimming with charm! This captivating piece features a heraldic sea lion (also known as a morse) on the Agate base, making this a unique piece for your collection. Queen Victoria loved Scotland and the Agate found there. This being Victorian Sardonyx Agate, it could also be a depiction of a Scottish selkie, a seal-like creature from Celtic and Norse mythology that assumed the form of a human when on land!
The fob pillar has been beautifully crafted, featuring acanthus leaves and a bright Gold finish! To channel your true inner Victorian splendour, wear this fob pendant with a split ring and belcher chain.

VERY GOOD. A gorgeous Victorian 9ct Gold cased Agate fob pendant in very good condition. The Fob has kept beautifully well overall, strong and sturdy. The Agate stone has a lovely smokey essence, and whilst the heraldic sea lion has kept every inch of detail, there are some remnants of wax from where this piece has been used as a seal- but this doesn't take away from her charm and integrity.
