This Victorian 12ct Gold vinaigrette pendant is truly one of a kind. A gorgeous spherical shape, this pendant is satisfyingly sleek and features geometric engravings around its centre.
Vinaigrette pendants traditionally held a piece of perfume-soaked sponge inside, and were worn by Victorian women to mask any unpleasant odours in the environment around them. There is certainly plenty of room inside for a trinket or two, if you so desired!

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This Victorian 12ct Gold vinaigrette pendant is in very good to excellent antique condition. The Gold is glossy and smooth throughout, free from any dings, dents and damage to note. There is some very light wear to the edges of each component, commensurate with age. This is all very subtle, however, and the pendant closes firmly shut, so you can wear her with confidence. She will easily suspend from a fine Gold chain!
