VERY GOOD. A gorgeous rare Victorian book 'family' locket in very good condition overall. The outside of the book is stunning, and has kept its engravings beautifully intact over the years! The book opens and closes with a push of the hinge, and inside the locket opens up with space for 12 portraits. To close her she does require a little push, but she remains securely closed. The locket does have some visible signs of wear, mainly prominent on the inside of the locket doors, but given that this piece is older than 100 years, we think she's lasted wonderfully! This is a charming little piece for your collection.
