ERA: Victorian, c.1900.
MEASUREMENTS: The necklace is 62" or 157cm long x 7mm wide.
Weight: 10g.
MATERIALS: Maireener Tasmanian Shell.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This rare iridescent purple Maireener Tasmanian shell necklace is in very good condition! The shells have a gorgeous hue and have lasted incredibly through the years. Some of the shells are chipped, however, they are securely strung and have maintained their vibrant hue. This piece may have been re-strung at one point in time, as some of the shells have some pre-existing holes (through which the string would have been threaded), but this does not affect the integrity of the piece. Overall this treasure has lasted beautifully!

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
