VERY GOOD. These rare Georgian Queen Anne Coque de Perle earrings are in incredible condition for their age, bearing in mind they were crafted by hand around 1740-1760! The Coque de Perle pieces are in very good condition. They still have a good shine and lustre and all the Pyrite were faceted by hand and are all original and intact. The tops are Sterling Silver, what we think is a later addition, meaning they are in very good wearable condition and will be a rare and coveted highlight in any Georgian jewellery collectors box! To keep these beautiful and historic earrings kept safe, take care not to keep away from make-up, lotions, perfume and hairspray as the acids will eat into the delicate organic Pearl. These earrings are best kept for occasional wear and should be treated delicately.
