Opal measures 15.5mm long x 11mm wide, weighing approx. 2.62ct.
Ring band is 2mm wide at the back.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (2.62ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Opal cabochon is secure with no obvious chips; subtle natural internal crazing and minor surface irregularities are visible under close inspection but present beautifully. The 9ct Gold bezel and shank show light surface scratches and a few tiny dings commensurate with age and wear. Minor tool marks from hand-finishing may be seen on close viewing, with overall wear even and attractive.
