Condition:

GOOD-VERY GOOD. This large 9ct Gold Georgian flat-cut Garnet Pearl cluster ring is in good to very good antique condition. Converted from what was once a Georgian, early 19th century lace pin, she boasts a gorgeous domed Gold back. There is some evidence of this conversion, visible under the ring head, but this is not noticeable when it is worn. We believe the shank is Victorian, or at the very least crafted in the Victorian style. The Garnet is clearly the star of the show, with bundles of light and beauty emanating from the stone. There is one very dainty nibble to the edge of the Garnet, near the setting, but we don't think that this at all detracts from the beauty and grace of the gemstone itself. The Pearls all naturally differ in hue and appearance and whilst there is some wear to them, this is commensurate with age, and it remains a stunning piece nonetheless. A beautiful statement ring, fit for a Queen!
