EXCELLENT / VERY GOOD: This huge Georgian Gold Seal fob pendant is in excellent condition. The Gold is a rosy hue that has stood the test of time, it has been very well looked after that it looks as lovely as the day it was made with only the smallest fleabite around the edging at the bottom of the fob.
This fob comes with the original split ring which you can add your favourite antique chain to! It is also an authentic Georgian piece and shows signs of wear- most notably the ring is slightly "open" and doesn't close tightly as if it were new. There is still plenty of tension in it to wear it safely, and the fact it matches perfectly in terms of colour and proportion leads us to believe this is the original split ring to this fob.
The Carnelian is lovely and smooth with clear and precise intaglio carvings that is in perfect working order. You can tell it was a working fob rather than just for show as there is still very minor remnants in the carvings which is so exciting to know its been of use to someone in the past! This fob is in exquisite condition for its age and wonderfully collectable. We simply love it and we hope you do too!
