In 1724, French jeweller Georges Frédéric Strass invented “Paste,” a leaded glass that was painstakingly cut & polished with metal powder until it appeared to shimmer like a Diamond in the light. It was an instant hit with the tres chic Parisian high society and continues to be highly collectable today.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 25mm long x 22mm wide.
Paste ranges from 2mm in diameter to 5mm in diameter.
Weight: 5.4g
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, 18ct Gold hasp & jump ring, Paste.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This Georgian Silver Paste daisy pendant is in very good condition throughout. The Pastes are all brilliant and securely set, free from any chips or abrasions. The Silver is bright and has accrued a patina within the grooves, adding to her antique charm. There is a slight ding on the back of the pendant, but this cannot be seen when worn. Complete with a large jump ring, you can wear this outstanding antique Paste pendant with confidence!

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
