Item Details
ERA: Georgian, c.1800.
MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 31mm long x 23mm wide.
Garnets graduate from 2mm to 4.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, metal pin for strength and durability, foiled antique flat-cut Garnets.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD. This Georgian Silver flat-cut Garnet Giardinetti brooch is in very good condition. The Garnets have been skilfully hand cut, with a delicious display of berry red hues. The central Garnet and the Garnets on the right hand side at the base do have some damage to note, but this is easily forgiven when considering this brooch is over 200 years old! The Garnets are all securely set and the Silver has accrued a desirable patina that compliments the Garnets beautifully. The pin is robust allowing you to wear this spectacular antique Garnet brooch with confidence and pride!

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
