ERA: Georgian, c.1800.
MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 14.5" long.
Paste stones are approximately 10mm x 7mm.
Weight: 33g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Pink Paste.
STAMPS: Later added bolt-ring stamped 925.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD. Given the grand age of this beauty, we think it has stood the test of time wonderfully well. The pink Paste gemstones aren't perfectly uniform in colour, but we actually find this an endearing quality that doesn't take away from the beauty of this wonderful Georgian pink Paste rivière necklace. The gemstones have remained in wonderful condition overall, secure in their settings, but there are one or two that have some nicks on their sides - this is only visible up close!
The back of the settings are smooth and wear super comfortably against the skin. There are some signs of wear to the back, but this is commensurate with age and given the piece is over 200 years old, we think it has lasted remarkably well! The bolt ring is a later addition, but is in keeping with the design and allows you to wear it confidently.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
