Here at Lillicoco, we adore antique cut steel jewellery!
This Georgian cut steel necklace is just as relevant today as it was 200 years ago. It's chic, versatile and in superb condition, ready to wear either alone, stacked or draped with your favourite charms or pendants.
We love the gorgeous glittering facets of the cut steel beads, which all would have been made and threaded expertly by hand. So, if you're looking for a chain that's unique and will become a go-to, glamorous wardrobe staple then look no further!
ERA: Georgian c.1800
MEASUREMENTS: The necklace has a total length of 16.2 inches.
We recommend a neck circumference of roughly 15.5 inches.
MATERIALS: Cut Steel, Silver
HALLMARKS: None present. The clasp tests as Sterling Silver.
EXCELLENT: A wonderful Georgian cut steel necklace in excellent condition. The cut steel beads are all original and antique, and look utterly fabulous no matter what you wear! The Sterling Silver clasp is also antique but likely a later addition, (probably c.1900). The clasp is strong and in excellent working order and the connections between them secure. There's no rust or damage and this wonderful piece offers a magical sparkle unlike any other!
