Held in classic Georgian pie-crust settings, her 15" length is made up of a plethora of black dot Paste that will make your collarbones sparkle as she adorns your neck.
Paste was an innovative new material first invented by Georges Frédéric Strass in the 1700s, as a way to emulate the beauty of real gemstones. Black dot paste was popular during the Georgian era and had a black dot painted on the back to mimic Diamond cutlets.
Each black dot Paste is backed by domed, sun-kissed 9ct Gold making this antique Rivière necklace sit comfortably against your chest. Oozing Georgian grandeur, we are in awe of this necklace's antique beauty and her rich 200-year-old history.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver settings backed with 9ct Rose Gold, Metal tongue, Black Dot Paste.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This Georgian Silver black dot Paste Rivière necklace is in wonderful condition. Each of the Paste gemstones are securely set into their traditional cullet settings, complete with 9ct Gold domed backs for comfortable wear. There is some slight discolouration to some of the foiling behind a few of the Paste gemstones and a few surface marks on some of the facets, but this is only noticeable under close inspection. The Silver has a lovely luster and her pie crust settings have accrued an admirable patina for a dramatic finish. The tongue clasp is in perfect working order so you can wear her confidently whatever the occasion. Over 200 years old, we can't quite believe the incredible condition this Georgian nekclace is in, a rare find for sure!

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 30%
Day 30: 35%
Day 60: 35%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
