Georgian 9ct Gold Garnet & Seed Pearl Mourning Ring, dated 1803
This Georgian 9ct Gold Garnet and seed Pearl mourning ring is an exquisite piece of history! This ring has a finely engraved inscription "WM Durrum, Ob; 14th Feb 1803 at 63" on the underside of the face and "affection weeps, heaven rejoices" running along the inside of the ring band.
This Georgian mourning ring is rich in early 19th-century romanticism. The meaningful quote and choice of Pearls and Garnets is a regency interpretation of Georgian mourning jewellery customs. The ring also promises a comfortable fit, with the inside of the band perfectly smooth, hugging your finger in all of the right places.
