A splendid pair of Georgian 9ct Gold foiled Garnet buckle earrings! What were once a pair of Georgian buckles, are now an exquisite pair of earrings.
Each earring is complete with 18 cherry red Garnets, which have been foiled for an extra burst of colour. This pair have a smooth and curved hook which will allow this pair to sway prettily in the ear, and a stunning navette shape which is sure to suit anyone!

ERA: Georgian, between 1780-1820.
MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 40.5mm long including hooks.
Foiled Garnet Drops are 28mm long x 18mm wide.
18 Foiled Garnets on each earring are 2.5mm in diameter (approx 3.70ct total).
Weight: 8.9g combined.
MATERIALS: 9ct Gold hooks, Silver settings, Foiled Garnets.
HALLMARKS: Tests as Silver Setting, with 9ct Gold hooks and 'clips'.

VERY GOOD. A delightful pair of Georgian 9ct Gold foiled Garnet buckle earrings! In very good condition, this Georgian pair are complete with 18 juicy and foiled Garnets each. The Garnets are all bright, secure and don't have any damage to note. The silver settings have kept their unique shape tremendously well, and the Gold hinges still work beautifully. The 9ct Gold hooks have been added at a later date, but match the earrings splendidly! We think these are a beautiful pair which will look fabulous in your ear.
