We're so pleased to present this lovely Georgian 9ct Gold Blue Enamel Pearl Crescent Moon brooch! Circa 1800 to 1820, this antique crescent has the most pleasing squat shape, like a plump and luxurious smile... with Pearly whites at its centre and a neat rim of midnight blue Enamel!
We can see it catching people's eyes on a coat lapel, a jacket, or even worn on a luxurious velvet ribbon about the neck, although it would make a great candidate as a pendant or charm conversion too.

MEASUREMENTS: The body of the brooch is 25mm x 16mm.
When looking at the crescent like a smile the brooch is 5.7mm at it's widest point.
The Pearls graduate from 2.2 -2.5mm diameter.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold, the pin is metal only for strength and durability.
STAMPS: None present. The brooch tests as 9ct Gold with a metal pin.

Condition:
VERY GOOD: A beautiful and refined Georgian 9ct Gold Blue Enamel Pearl crescent Moon brooch with bags of authentic antique charm. Circa 1800 to 1820, this Georgian era crescent brooch is a fantastic example and offered in very good condition. The Enamel is a deep and enticing midnight blue which hasn't been chipped or scratched. A rare find! The Pearls are also in remarkable condition for their age- lustrous with a creamy champagne tone and all original. The curved metal pin is also original and although works perfectly is worth noting you'll need a little fabric in between to keep the tension tight to keep this brooch safe and sound.
