This Georgian 9ct Gold Amethyst pendant is a fine jewel of great age! Dating back to circa 1820, this spectacular 9ct Gold pendant, boasting an impressive grape-hued 28.00ct Amethyst, is over 200 years old.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Georgian 9ct Gold Amethyst pendant is in lovely condition throughout. Her 28.00ct Amethyst has no chips or abrasions, which is particularly impressive considering she's 200 years old! On close inspection, you may see a fine line inside the stone from certain angles, but rest assured this is not a crack but an inclusion fingerprint from the natural formation of the gem. As an authentic Georgian-era piece, the triple claw cut-down settings are so typical of Georgian jewellery and hug the gem snugly. Note that it was once converted from a Georgian pin brooch which was damaged, but has been done with grace and sympathy for the jewel's great age and beauty! All in all, this Amethyst pendant is a jaw-dropping jewel, and will be the envy of all your friends!
