VERY GOOD. This impressive Georgian 18ct Gold Perpignan Garnet tiara hairpiece is in fabulous condition. Her Garnets are in incredible condition, having lasted impeccably over their lifetime! Their colours are vibrant and vivid, with each of their rose-cut forms intact, each securely nestled into its Gold settings. The foils are all intact, retaining an amazing fire that really sets off the pinks and reds. Although there is light wear to the closed-back Gold settings, this is commensurate with age and cannot be seen when she is worn! The piqué comb is firmly attached and in wonderful condition, with only some light surface wear to note. She remains sturdy and the hinge mechanism is in fine working order. You'll never find a treasure quite as magnificent as this Regency era piece! She is certainly one to pass down the generations.
