EXCELLENT-VERY GOOD: This Georgian 18ct Gold Perpignan Garnet Riviere is in superb condition for its age. We could wax lyrical about these Garnets for hours, with the gems securely set in place and their vivacious foiled centres bright and beautiful. There are some light dings to the back of the settings which cannot be seen when the necklace is worn, and two of the Garnets have tiny flea bite marks. Considering that this necklace is of Georgian provenance, the fact that this is the only signs of wear is marvellous! This rare and sublime necklace should certainly be the centre of attention in your antique jewellery collection.
