This is an extremely rare Georgian 15ct Gold Pearl cluster Diamond mourning pendant. Featuring countless champagne-hued Pearls framing a central woven hair design, she is a magnificent, understated beauty! As if that weren't enough, the Diamond drop section adds another level of luxury.

Complete with an original antique fitted velvet box, she is truly unmatched for antique charm. Not to mention, her box features a delicate handwritten name, 'Sylvia', inside. We love to imagine who this previous owner was, and the sentimental value this mourning pendant might have held! She is certainly ready for a new lease of life, and would look so gorgeous hanging from a fine Gold chain.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 47.5mm long x 18.5mm wide.
Hair work section is 13mm long x 7.5mm wide.
Diamond is 2.5mm in diameter, with a carat weight of approx. 0.07ct.
Box is 78mm long x 44.5mm wide.
Weight: 7.5g.

MATERIALS: 15ct Gold, Sterling Silver settings, Pearl, old mine-cut Diamond, woven hair work, brown faux Leather, indigo Velvet & Satin box innards.

HALLMARKS: Tests as 15ct gold throughout, Sterling Silver settings. "BARKENTIN & KRALL, GOLDSMITHS, 291, REGENTS ST W", printed inside box.

Condition:

EXCELLENT. This Georgian 15ct Gold Pearl cluster Diamond pendant is in excellent condition. Her Pearl double border cluster, bale and flower cluster drop are all in fine order. There is still a lovely lustre to all the Pearls, which are all securely set with no blistering or damage to note. The professionally woven hair work has stood the test of time brilliantly, and hasn't budged from place. The Gold settings and backs are smooth to touch with no dings to note, which is just amazing! Her Diamond is set securely, and the lovely original Georgian crimped settings are perfect. The accompanying antique box is all in fine order, and is full of history. There is some light surface wear to the outer body of the box, but it is still pretty, and protects the jewellery inside. All in all, her excellent condition make this an extremely rare find!
