VERY GOOD. This Georgian 15ct Gold flat-cut Garnet Diamond cluster ring is in very good antique condition. Each gemstone is securely set and retains a beautiful vibrance, even after all these years! There are a few light scratches to the central Garnet, but these are very subtle. The Diamonds do also differ slightly in hue and brilliance, but this doesn't take away from their undeniable charm. Because these gemstones have closed-back settings, as was typical in Georgian pieces, you need to make sure you don't get them wet, to keep them looking their best! For this reason, she is probably not ideal for everyday wear. A special jewel, her shank and settings retain a glossiness and are very sturdy. We simply adore her!
