VERY GOOD. This French Georgian Emerald Diamond & Amethyst Paste Giardinetti brooch pendant is in very good antique condition. There is a variation in the colour of the Paste stones, but this is typical of jewellery this age. The Paste gems are largely very well looked after and display a magical brightness within them, with their foils remaining intact, adding a luminous charm! The 18ct Gold pin and c-clasp boast lovely French hallmarks which indicate coveted French provenance. We believe that this brooch was likely part of a larger suite of jewellery from its construction, with the solid 18ct Gold pin and c-clasp being added at a later date to suit the changing fashions of the time. She will fasten securely to a lapel or scarf, whilst she will also hang beautifully from a fine chain!
