Huguenin is a company founded by two brothers in Switzerland in 1868 specialising in watchmaking. They went on to make other pieces such as lockets and became particularly famous during the Art Nouveau era.
The slender depth of this antique Silver locket makes her lightweight and a dream to suspend from an antique chain, with space to home two photographs inside. Just by looking at this Art Nouveau locket, you can tell she's a French beauty, with a French crab hallmark stamped onto her hasp to confirm it!

EXCELLENT. Packed with antique charm, this French Art Nouveau Silver Iris flower locket is in lovely condition throughout! Her smooth circular shape makes her easy on the eyes and her embossed Iris motif is crisp, standing out from her Silver which has accrued a desirable patina. Although she does not have glass, there are two frames to keep your photographs securely in place and she closes shuts with a resounding click. All this antique locket needs now is a skinny antique chain to thread her onto!
