Edwardian Paste Fleur De Lis Brooch c.1900

This Edwardian Paste Fleur De Lis brooch is what antique jewellery is all about!  It has a real sense of history behind it and was manufactured using techniques and materials that are no longer in use today.

We love the bright Emerald green paste stones nestled within the classic French 'fleur de lis' motif. Roughly translated into English that means 'flower of the lily' and this one is displayed with heaps of sparkle and style!

Here at Lillicoco we think that antique brooches like this are so versatile!  Maybe you think it would look perfect on a lapel, scarf or hat?  Or perhaps you'd prefer to add a chain to make it into a pendant?  You're only limit is your imagination!

VERY GOOD:  This Edwardian Paste Fleur de Lis brooch is in wonderful ready-to-wear condition.  The Silver is lovely, with no dings or scratches and has developed a nice patina over the years.  The pin and clasp are strong and sturdy so you can wear this with confidence, not having to worry about it falling off.  The green and white paste stones are all present and original, showing no signs of damage and although there is some mild discolouration to some of the smaller stones this doesn't detract from the charm and character of the piece!  Beautiful all round!
