We are truly in awe of this Art Nouveau Sterling Silver minaudière purse, we've never seen anything quite as unique! Crafted from a sleek and solid Sterling Silver, she features detailed engraved acanthus and flowers on both sides.
Inside this minaudière purse lie a multitude of secret compartments! You will find room within for cigarettes, matches, and even a sovereign and half sovereign coin. She also features a mirror and a piece of wafer paper for a portrait to be painted of a loved one inside.
You will never tire of her many features, we just love to imagine who her previous owners were and the stories she could tell if only she could talk! An exquisite find which will become a collector's prized possession.

Condition:
VERY GOOD. This Art Nouveau Sterling Silver minaudière purse is in fabulous antique condition. The Silver repoussé remains exquisite throughout, the Silver retaining a glossy appearance. There are a few dings, dents and scratches throughout the purse, commensurate with age, but this simply shows the full life she has lived! Her mirror is free from cracks and all the inner components are securely attached, moving well on their hinges. The Gilded Silver inner frame possesses a gorgeous hue and the wafer paper, although scratched, is free from major damage. This marvelous minaudière is a testament to the incredible craftsmanship at the turn of the century, and is overall in wonderful condition for a piece of her age!
