An impressive Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Moonstone butterfly integral necklace; with an undeniable Art Nouveau feel and smooth and elegant lines that subtly resemble a butterfly!

Item Details

ERA: Art Nouveau (1890-1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Moonstones are 3.5mm in diameter, approx 2.80ct combined. The necklace is 18" or 46cm long
Integral 'butterfly' is 22.5mm wide.
Weight: 8.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Moonstones (2.80ct).

STAMPS: 9CT on bolt-ring.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT. This Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Moonstone integral necklace is offered in wonderful condition. The 'butterfly' has kept its shape well, with lovely plump cabochon-cut Moonstones. There is part of the Goldwork that has slightly come away from the main body of the pendant, but it remains structurally intact and can be worn confidently for many more years. The 9ct Gold is bright and buttery, and the little drops create great movement! The bolt-ring allows you to wear this piece with absolute confidence, making it a splendid addition for your collection. With proper care and maintenance, this necklace will last for generations to come!
