Invented back in 1909, Bakelite was the first plastic made from synthetic components. The height of Bakelite jewellery was the late 1930s, up until the end of the Art Deco period, and is still highly sought after now in the 21st Century.

Their cherry Amber Bakelite boasts deep red hues, with only some very minor surface wear. Due to the darker tone of the Bakelite, the surface nibbles are hardly noticeable. They are firmly affixed to their silver chains, which are also firmly affixed to their hooks. With perfectly sized hooks they can sit comfortably in your earlobes all day long. A wonderful window into the past, they are packed with antique charm!
