As part of our rare Egyptian drop, this Art Deco Egyptian revival "Moses in a basket" charm pendant is a firm favourite! After the discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the early 20th century, a wave of inspiration took hold of the jewellery world, and this piece is a fine example!
The outside of the Moses basket features blue and Green Enamel detailing, and the Sphinx of Giza, whilst the inside homes baby Moses himself. To find such a piece in this condition is quite incredible, and we think she'd be a splendid addition to any jewellery collection!

ERA: Art Deco (1920-1939).
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 20.5mm long including jump ring.
Basket is 14.5mm long x 10mm wide.
Basket is 6.5mm deep.

MATERIALS: 800 Silver Gilded with Gold, Green & Blue Enamel.
HALLMARKS: Tests as Silver (Gilded) throughout.
Condition:
VERY GOOD. Just look at this Art Deco Egyptian revival "Moses in a basket" charm pendant! In very good condition, this piece comes with its original baby Moses. The outside of the piece has lovely Enamel detailing which remained lovely, only a few signs of wear. The basket features a jump ring and closes securely. Whilst this piece isn't perfect, she looks very good given her age, with only a some natural patina to show for it!
