A charming Art Deco 18ct Gold 'mother and child' pendant steeped in sentiment. Her front displays an embossed motif of a mother and child, which we can only assume is Mary holding her baby Jesus. Jesus is depicted holding an olive branch, symbolising peace to the world.
We believe this would have once been a treasured gift for the previous owner as the initials 'FA' and the date '19.3.40' are inscribed into the back. If the date or initials have a personal meaning for a loved one this could be the perfect gift for them. It's hard to believe something so petite can be so rich with symbolism and crafted entirely from 18ct Gold, she exudes splendour!

VERY GOOD. This Art Deco 18ct Gold 'Mother and child' pendant is in very good condition throughout! Her embossed motif has held its form spectacularly, with no dings or dents to note. There is a slight red tinge around the edge from discolouration with age, but this can only be noticed under a jeweller's loupe. The engravings on the back are crisp and clear to read. Complete with a soldered jump ring, she is ready to be worn to your heart's desires!
