The pear-shaped garnet cabochons have beautiful high domes and are glossy and smooth to the touch. They're completely free from any damage and the Yellow Gold compliments them perfectly. All of the gemstones are original and antique, and there are no chips, scuffs or imperfections whatsoever- just beautiful, sparkly and glowing natural gemstones that look just as wonderful today as they would have 130 years ago. Simply astounding!
Please note the stud backs are a later modernisation. They would likely have been French hooks or lever backs originally, but we feel the studs are versatile and comfortable to wear and have been converted to an excellent standard.
