To find such a large antique Sapphire of this colour is very rare indeed, so much so that we had it tested by an FGA approved gemologist- and boy! What a treat! The gem is completely natural, with no evidence of heat.
All 5.30cts are delicious, natural, and untreated- with no chips, scuffs or abrasions to be seen- all you can do is admire the beautiful cornflower hue!

Condition:
VERY GOOD. This antique Silver natural Sapphire charm is in very good condition. Her Silver settings show only very minor signs of wear, and her 18ct Gold jump ring is secure, allowing the charm to be suspended from a chain, split-ring or dog-clip. Her Sapphire is a covetable baby cornflower blue, held securely in place. The gem is in impeccable condition for its age. (We know the age of the sapphires as it was found as part of a damaged Austro-Hungarian piece that we salvaged, c,1890). There are no chips, scrathes or abrasions on the gem, and the hue We can't get enough of her beautiful pastel blue hues!
