This sunny Silver Citrine brooch is a wonderful piece of Victorian jewellery. You can't help but love the bright and cheery yellow hue of the Citrine, and the contrast of the dark patina of the filigree mount gives it such romance!
The Citrine itself weighs approximately 7.63cts and is beautifully bright and clear.
The gem is of excellent quality and set open-backed so it has amazing sparkle-factor!
Great worn as it is on a jacket or lapel, or threaded onto a Silver chain. It also looks gorgeous worn on a thick velvet ribbon choker.

VERY GOOD: This beautiful antique Citrine brooch is in very good condition. The Citrine is of an excellent quality and is absolutely perfect, with no chips, scuffs or scratches anywhere. The brooch fastens closed securely. The pin is string and secure, and can be used even on thicker fabrics such as wool or tweed without a worry. The dark aged patina on the Silver is wonderful, and gives the piece an almost Gothic aesthetic. (Of course, it can be polished up if you prefer but we've left it as we found it!)
There is a little movement in the Citrine but the claws are all present and intact, and the gem is not at risk of being lost at all so the brooch can be worn quite safely and enjoyed as it is for many years to come.
