This is an incredible pair of antique Paste dormeuse drop earrings! Studded with sparkling white Paste stones, this sweet pair are sure to light up the room.
Dormeuse or "sleeper" earrings were a French invention, originally designed to be worn at night to avoid piercing the wearer's neck. But we think this pair is far too pretty to be worn to sleep! Dropping at a lovely length just below your lobe, these Victorian earrings deserve to be shown off from day to night.
