This petite antique Moss Agate compass pendant is just the cutest thing, a fabulous well-priced Victorian charm for your collection.
There is nothing quite as lovely as an antique decorative compass, simply because they are so beguiling, as well as being steeped in history. The verdant forest Moss Agate will transport you to the depths of the countryside, and is an enchanting way to connect you to mother nature.
ERA: Victorian, c.1900.
MEASUREMENTS: Compass 16mm diameter.
Pendant length including jump ring 23mm.
MATERIALS: Metal Compass, Silver Jump Ring, Moss Agate.
HALLMARKS: Tests as Metal compass components with a Silver jump ring.
VERY GOOD: This antique Moss Agate compass pendant is in great condition considering its age. The Moss Agate is free from any major signs of wear, with only a few scratches that are easily concealed by the Moss Agate inclusions. There is some of the Agate's matrix on the side of the compass, but this is only the remnants of the natural stone. As can be expected from an antique compass (with an original utilitarian function) the actual compass itself is no longer working, but this is reflected in the price and you can still enjoy this as a fine pendant!
