Description:
This antique French Silver coin holder is a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship! Crafted from Sterling Silver, this striking bag is formed of intricate links creating her chain mail mesh. Her relaxed stature is satisfying to the touch and allows you to store a considerable amount of coins in her two compartments.
Chain mail was initially used as a form of armour worn to protect warriors during battle. Its renowned circular-shaped mesh has inspired striking pieces of jewellery throughout the years.
Bound together by a Silver arch, she flaunts floral ornate detailing and her bottom has a beaded edge, which is very commonly seen in Victorian jewellery. She is just too adorable to resist!

EXCELLENT. This antique French Silver coin holder is in excellent condition. Her clasp closes securely, keeping the contents safely inside as you use her. Her chainmail is in fantastic condition, with each link remaining uniform throughout the outside and her inner sheet. Complete with a soldered jump ring, she can be affixed to a chain of your choice to possibly attach to a belt loop. She bursts with antique charm from top to bottom!
