This rare and unusual antique Amethyst bug hair ornament is so sweet, we just can't get enough of her!
Two expertly faceted Amethysts catch the light, sending lilac shimmers surging across the body of the bug. Pretty detailed Pearl encrusted wings perfectly frame the Amethysts, creating a whimsical piece of Art Nouveau jewellery.
When the wings are pressed towards each other the steel hinge is opened allowing for this ornament to be clipped to your hair with ease.

This antique Amethyst bug hair ornament is in wonderful condition throughout. The Amethysts are bright with only very minor wear in keeping with age, both are held securely in place by their settings. The Pearls are slightly aged but we feel this just adds to the bug's antique charm. The hinge is in perfect working order and still has good resistance meaning you can wear this Art Nouveau hair ornament with utmost confidence!
