MATERIALS: 18ct Gold, Diamond (0.22ct). (Old European-cut Diamond, I-J colour and VS-Si clarity. No dark carbon spot inclusions and she's clear of any marks or feathers under X10 magnification). 

STAMPS & HALLMARKS: Crown "18" Chester Assay, scrolled date letter "L" for the year 1925. "W&H LTD" Maker's mark.

VERY GOOD: This antique 18ct Gold Diamond snake ring is in very good condition throughout. The rare and sizeable 0.20ct old European-cut Diamond it set securely in its head, and the face of the serpent is smiling & highly polished- it simply gleams! The Diamond is of high quality colour and clarity, and has no chips, scratches- she is bright and fiery as ever!  Crafted from a substantial weight of decadent 18ct Gold, this ring has clearly been built to last. The buttery coils do not have any signs of damage or having been re-sized in the past, and there is a full set of highly sought after antique English Gold hallmarks. The date letter is a partial hallmark only (not from wear but has only been partially struck! but from the cursive and scrolled lettering our research dates it as assayed in 1925!)
