Item Details:
ERA: Victorian, c.1900.
MEASUREMENTS: The face or cluster of the earrings is 9mm diameter.
The earrings measure 15mm from the very top of the hook to the bottom of the cluster.
Each earrings has 1 x centre Diamond measuring approx 2.5mm.
8 smaller Diamonds that are approx 2mm each.
0.60cts total carat weight spread.
Weight: 3g combined.
MATERIALS: 15ct Gold, Rose-Cut Diamonds. Please note the unusual shape and dimensions of rose-cut-Diamonds mean the accurate carat weight assessments of the Diamond is not possible. However if they were modern round brilliant-cut Diamonds they have the equivalent of 0.60cts in total.
HALLMARKS: Tests as 15ct Gold throughout.
Condition:
EXCELLENT. This pair of antique 15ct Gold rose-cut Diamond cluster earrings are in excellent condition. The diamonds are each securely set, uniquely cut, with individual twinkles. The Diamonds are a moody colour, with silvery-grey and cognac tones and beautiful twinkles off the rose-cut facets.
The 15ct Gold is unusual in that it has a subtle rosy tone, but it's lasted incredibly well with no dings or dents. The lever backs ensure that this pair of earrings will remain securely in your ear, so you can wear them with the utmost confidence!
