An antique 15ct Gold engraved 'The Buffs 1918' regiment locket which carries a lot of sentiment and history. She is crafted from a rosy-hued 9ct Gold with gorgeous engravings of a dragon and banner that reads 'The Buffs'.
'The Buffs' were a regiment that gained their name in 1744. During the first world war, they served 14 Battalions and were awarded 48 battle honours and 1 Victoria cross. We believe this locket would have been used to keep treasured photos of loved ones safe during these times. With so much more history behind this show-stopping piece, she is any antique collector's dream item!
