This lovely 9ct Gold Victorian Turquoise ring is a genuine antique and is hallmarked for the year 1891. It was made in Victorian England and features the rare and collectable Chester assay mark!
The ring has that wonderful warm tone that only antique jewellery has- somewhere between Rose and Yellow Gold, and we love the fact that an authentic Victorian ring can look to modern and contemporary!
The band is set with a single smooth Turquoise cabochon in the centre and to the sides we see pretty detailed shoulders and dainty Pearls for a touch of elegance. The smooth gems ensure this ring won't catch on your clothes, so it's an ideal choice as a casual dress ring or stacking ring.

This lovely little 9ct Gold Victorian Turquoise ring is in very good condition and is ready for a new adventure! The Turquoise is bright and beautiful, and completely free of damage, and the Pearls are also all original and intact. The Pearls naturally vary in colour; with some silvery toned and others with more pink and orange tones.
As with the majority of antiques, there is some wear consistent with age and use. There is a visible re-sizing which looks to have been done many moons ago (possible back in the 1800's!) but this has been done with sympathy to the design so that it is symmetrical and in-keeping with the overall design of the ring. There are also two dark marks inside the band which appear to be acid marks from a previous over-zealous jeweller but these can't be seen when worn.
