Description:

SOLD!

We are in awe of this 9ct Gold 'one' pound note charm! Her one pound note is folded with precision to perfectly fit within her buttery 9ct Gold box, showcasing the word 'ONE' behind her clear pane of glass.

She is known as an 'emergency money' charm, with the idea that you would break the glass open when you are in need of money. With this particular charm, she even has 'in emergency break glass' written at her base. This is a real testament to the pre-decimal era. Suspend this vintage pendant from a fine chain and have a fun keepsake yo can wear on a daily basis.

VERY GOOD. This 9ct Gold 'one' pound note charm is in very good condition! The 9ct Gold is buttery throughout and has kept its rectangular form well. There are a few light scratches to the back but nothing untoward. Similar with her glass, there are scratch marks covering her surface, commensurate with age, but the glass is still clear allowing you to see the note. With a jump ring soldered onto her corner, she hangs at a slight angle, which we think is super cute! A wonderful vintage charm packed with historic value!
