VERY GOOD. This 7" Georgian 14ct Gold Amethyst bracelet is in excellent condition. The Amethysts are all securely set, with no chips or damage to note. The clasp is also in fine working order, and all components are securely connected. Whilst there are a couple of subtle dings to some of the central Amethyst backs, this is commensurate with age. It is likely this was once a riviere necklace that has been shortened at some point in the last 200 years. As the fashions changed and riviere necklaces became less popular towards the mid 1850's, it's likely it was customised then, and although a shame it's not 100% in its original state, it's an absolute pleasure to be the caretakers of this incredible piece of history! We are in awe at the overall quality of the gemstones, the foiling, and the craftsmanship of this Georgian bracelet dream-boat!
