This 17.5" Edwardian 9ct Gold heart locket necklace is truly one of a kind! Suspended from an antique bolt-ring hangs a sweet heart locket, crafted from a buttery 9ct Gold and decorated with forget-me-not and foliate engravings.
This lovely antique locket is complete with a solid 9ct Gold belcher chain, possessing fancy textured links near its drop. Heart motifs are highly sought after in antique jewellery, and this sweetie possesses two frames for you to place a photograph of a loved one inside. There's even room for you to add on another charm or two on to the bolt-ring if you so desired!

Heart locket including hasp is 21.5mm long x 17mm wide.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold back & front locket with a solid 9ct Gold chain.
HALLMARKS: The locket tests as 9ct Gold back & front, with a metal hinge and frames for strength. The chain has a "9C" tag hallmark near the clasp, and tests as 9ct Gold throughout.
Condition:
VERY GOOD. This 17.5" Edwardian 9ct Gold heart locket necklace is in lovely antique condition. The lovely locket still has feminine and graceful engravings, plain to see with swirls and flowers against a blank cartouche centre. Perhaps you could engrave yours and a loved one's initials inside! The locket opens and closes well, clicking tightly shut, encasing two frames safely inside. The 9ct Gold chain also has a good weight and minimal wear.
***Please note that the bolt-ring clasp is designed to be worn at the front. It is NOT soldered or attached to the chain, which gives you more freedom and ease to attach charms and customise your look, but you'll need to take care not to get dressed in a rush as it would be easy to misplace it!
