We are obsessed with this antique 15ct Gold 'head of Hermes' cameo brooch. This fine piece has a true Victorian feel about her and was made during the archeological revival period, towards the end of the 1800s.
The detail on this antique Cameo brooch is meticulous, with fine rope details and a twisted border to feast your eyes on. This is a sensational piece which you can wear on your coat lapel, or perhaps as a hairpiece if you'd like to try something different!

Cameo is 16mm long x 14mm wide.

Condition:
VERY GOOD. This antique 15ct Gold 'head of Hermes' cameo brooch is in very good condition. The Gold is bright and buttery, there is minimal wear to note, only some subtle signs to the back of the piece. The shell has retained every inch of detail, and looks just as good now as it did when it was firt made over 100 years ago!
