Crafted in Victorian England in the late 1800's, this striking Victorian Silver book chain collar necklace is the perfect piece of jewellery to stand out from the crowd!
It's been hand-made over 100 years ago and the craftsmanship that went into making it is fantastic! Each little Silver disc or "coin" has been handmade and hand-engraved, so as the light catches them you can see that each is individual and ever so slightly different.
Certainly a one-of-a-kind, this collar necklace is simple yet striking, and the subtle shimmer from this ancient Silver is captivating!
We love Victorian jewellery as it was so ahead of its time- perfectly balancing edgy with feminine, and practicality with amazing looks. We think this piece sums that all perfectly. You can wear it as it is, or use the hidden Silver loop in the centre of the necklace to attach a charm or a locket to suit your mood!
*We've added a large 14-15mm diameter antique Silver bolt-ring you can use to attach your charms or pendants- just as the Victorians would.
