We are captivated by this Victorian rose-cut Diamond Giardinetti pendant, which dates back to 1850. Flowers were a fashionable and symbolic bejewelled choice throughout the 19th century, and this pendant is a fine example of the exemplary craftsmanship of the time.
Giardinetti jewellery first became popular in Italy, with “Giardinetti” translating to “Little Garden”. Referring to floral-themed jewellery, bouquets and blossoms took centre stage throughout this era and we are so lucky to get our hands on a piece!
Every crevice of this Victorian pendant is lavishly embellished with rose-cut Diamonds, each possessing a sophisticated sparkle. Each hand-cut Diamond is unique, making this pendant all the more special. Complete with a 9ct Gold jump ring, simply suspend her from a slender Gold chain for an opulent antique look.

Central Flower rose-cut Diamond is approx. 3.3mm in diameter., weighing approx. 0.15ct.
Smaller rose-cut Diamonds graduate from approx. 1mm to 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.75ct.
Total Diamond carat weight apporx. 0.90ct.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Victorian rose-cut Diamond Giardinetti pendant is in wonderful condition for her great age. Each rose-cut Diamond is present and all look to be original. Her Sterling Silver backed in 9ct Gold is rich in tone, with only minor wear to the back of her flower bouquet. All in all, she is a sensational piece of Giardinetti jewellery, ready to dazzle anyone who is lucky enough to lay eyes on her. We can't think of a prettier investment piece to lovingly pass down the generations.
