Victorian Pearl and Diamond Cluster Ring Conversion

This item is unavailable
SKU: 1399

This Victorian Pearl and Diamond cluster ring was originally part of an antique bar brooch that was bent out of shape.  Rather than just scrapping the spectacular pearl and diamond cluster we thought that it deserved to be upcycled into a fabulous ring so that it can be worn and enjoyed for many more years to come!

The cluster itself benefits from having once been part of a brooch because it hasn't been exposed to the daily wear and tear that so often can affect antique rings.  As a result it is in pristine condition!  The natural Pearl is just perfection; ivory white with a beautiful lustre.  Truly a beautiful example.  And as if that wasn't enough, the Diamonds are completely out of this world!  Bright white chunky old mine cuts with fantastic clarity.  These were winning at the 4C's before that was even a thing!

Since this is a conversion, the shank has been taken from another ring.  In this case, a vintage 1970's cluster which had lost some stones and would have otherwise been condemned to be melted down and remade into something new.

With this ring not only are you buying an absolutely gorgeous piece of Victorian history with it's own unique life story, you are also making an ethical choice that is positive for the environment.  This is what the preservation of history is all about!
