The round cluster (top)is 25mm in diameter x 10mm deep.
The large round Garnet is 12mm diameter x 3.8mm deep and is approximately 5.75cts.
The second largest Garnets in the round section (outer halo) are 3.5mm.
The smallest Garnets measure 1.6mm.
The large pear shaped Garnet is 14mm x 8mm x approx 2mm deep and is approximately 1.57cts.
The second largest Garnets on the teardrop (outer halo) are 3.5mm
The smallest Garnets on the teardrop are 2.5mm.

HALLMARKS: None present, tested as gold gilt over Sterling Silver.
VERY GOOD: This Victorian Garnet drop brooch is in a fantastic condition. The Garnets are a deep red enhanced by the sealed back. All the Garnets are from the original brooch and are well matched in terms of colour and saturation and set securely. The Garnets have been kept very well with only the smallest scuffs on the larger stones due to wear, only adding to its gorgeous antique quality and character.
